Uni High is a public laboratory school enrolling approximately 325 students. Founded in 1921, the 5-year high school is located on the University of Illinois campus in Urbana-Champaign. This East Central Illinois community has a population of about 128,000, including 56,000 students. The student to teacher ratio is 9 to 1, and the average class size is 15, allowing faculty and administrators to know each student individually. Admission decisions are made without regard to home school district or affiliation with the University of Illinois.
